Today's card is my Daughter's Birthday Invitation, she is having a Hawaiian Turtle Party. I first embossed the turtle with Black Embossing powder, then the Jellyfish with Whit embossing powder. I used the stampin' markers to colour the turtle with Soft Suede, Wild Wasabi, and Pear Pizzazz. Then I embossed it with Clear Embossing powder, this was to ensure that when sponging the background I didn't get ink on the turtle, it also makes the turtle really shiny and pop!
Today's project is inspired by the new 2016-2018 In Colours, Dapper Denim, Emerald Envy, Flirty Flamingo, Peekaboo Peach, and Sweet Sugarplum. I have yet to figure out what colour is my favourite so I made a card in each one of the new colours. Do you see a new favourite? Do you want all of them? Why not join my 2016-2018 In Colour Club.

As the school year ends it is time to think about teacher gifts. I just love to give little thank you cards and gifts to show the teachers how much I appreciate all they did this school year for my little ones. My children also learn the importance of giving thanks as my son came up with a list of 18 people that not only included his teachers but also the custodian and maintenance man because he said they play and important part in his school, and need to be thanked as well.

Todays project is inspired by the Tin of Cards Cark Kit. I wanted to see what other cards I could make with the kit, because you know me I have a hard time making the same card over and over again. Do you have the Tin of Cards Kit, but want to make different cards with it? Here are a few different ideas. I made all these cards plus the 4 designs the kit comes with for a total of 16 cards, the only additional item I used was the Bermuda Bay ink pad. The Mint Maccaron Butterfly is made by inking the white side of the Crushed Curry die cut butterfly.
Today's card features the Bokeh Technique. I will be teaching this technique and others you can do with sponge dobbers in class on May 2nd. I have also used the Tin of Cards stamp set with this card, this is a great sentiment set and can be used on other projects, not just the card kit.
