Bunny Treat Box

This is a cute little Easter Bunny Treat box that I designed to hold easter chocolates as the Easter Dinner table favours. Hope you enjoy.

Supplies:
Coloured card stock, I used Chocolate Chip, Smokey Slate, and Very Vanilla
Regals Buttons
Twine
Mini glue dots
Sticky strip
Envelope punch board
Score board
Scissor

Directons:
Start with a 6 1/2" × 6" piece of card stock

Score Long Side at:
1 1/2", 3", 4 1/2", 6"

Score Short Side at:
1 1/2", 2", 4", 5 1/2"

Fold only the long side score lines for easy punching using the envelope punch board. Fold one edge over and with the end of the paper at 4 1/4", your marker on the punch board should be at the 2nd score line and the there should be a score line in the middle of the punch. Punch and fold at same position all the way down the card stock. This forms the top of the box and the "ears".

To make ears, line up paper with the little rectangle side to the left at 1 1/4" and punch. This will put the punch indent at the middle of the columns, fold over the paper and punch in the same spot on the other 4 columns, to insure your bunny ears line up.

Now fold all score lines in except the 1 1/2" (base of ears) gets folded out.

Cut up the score lines that create the bottom flaps, removing the small rectangle and flap beside it. Now you are left with 3 flaps, cut a bit shorter than the score line of the left and right tab, leaving the middle one, this will be used to close your box.

Draw a bunny face on the front of your box, this is the face that has the fold in tab.

Assemble your box using sticky strip on the skinny rectangle, and fold in bottom flaps.

Fill with chocolates and push ears down into box and pinch together. Use glue dots to keep ears together. And with scissors for bunny ears to a point.

With a glue dot add a button nose and whiskers, and do not forget a tail on the back.
